    This lightweight cap is inspired by a Japanese field hat. Our modern version is hand painted and hand waxed body with a vegetable tanned leather brim. It makes for a great travel companion and adds smart style to any outfit.

    FEATURES

    Hand painted olive green canvas with vegetable tanned leather
    Treated with beeswax
    Leather brim
    Handmade monkey brass hardware

    CARE

    Due to its protective wax coating, waxed canvas will not stain easily, and the inevitable scuffs made by daily use will most likely blend into the weathered patina of the fabric. However, if your waxed canvas does need cleaning, only spot clean with a damp towel, never put it in the washing machine or dryer.

    It's fantastic! The waxed finish gives it so much character, the colors are spot on, and the care put into it is obvious. It has an artisanal feel, and should be treated with that in mind. It's not like a baseball cap which you might leave in your hot car without thinking; so this hat does require some care. The sellers were great when I had some questions about the sizing. All around it was a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend
