WHY BACKORDERS?
Some items you order may be "back ordered." What does that mean?
Due to the quantity of handmade items we offer and our production capabilities, we don’t typically have all of our styles and sizes in stock, so we offer the option of back ordering current out of stock items. Once a back order is placed, it is forwarded to our production team. Backordered items are made-to-order and typically take 2-4 weeks. We always prioritize customer orders over stock orders, so placing a back order is the quickest way to receive an out of stock item.
We know in this fast fashion world that waiting for your item can be difficult. You might wonder why we don't produce more upfront.
We believe that quantity and quality are both environmental issues.
The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to landfills. By made-to-order fulfillment we can be sure that we don't use resources to produce something that may never find a forever home.
In addition to not over-producing, we also care about the quality of the goods we produce. We have a Repair Program to repair, repaint, resole and of your BLAMO wears. We want you to love your purchase while feeling good about supporting a company that is trying to make decisions to support our Earth.
